Cape Point & Peninsula Private Day Tour
The Cape Point & Peninsula Private Day Tour includes all the major attractions on offer in just one day. (Cape Point, Kirstenbosch gardens, Boulders Beach penguin colony, Hout Bay)
Detailed Tour Itinerary
The tour starts with a picture stop at Camps Bay to enjoy spectacular view of the 12 Apostles Mountains. From there we move along the Atlantic coast to Hout Bay for a short stop to see the seals in the harbor mouth.
Next the tour moves south to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope travelling along the famous Chapman's Peak enjoying the panoramic views and stopping at the lookout point for photos.
The Cape Point National Park offers tourists access to the furthest part of the Cape Point where the lighthouse summits besides the Cape of Good Hope. Tourists can take the Flying Dutchman Tram (R80 return) to the lighthouse or are welcome to walk it.
Next is a visit to Simon's Town and the Boulders Beach Penguin Colony. The Boulders Beach colony is on a sheltered beach made up of inlets between granite boulders, from which the name originated. It is a popular tourist stop because of a colony of African penguins which settled there in 1982.
At the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens tourists will have time to explore alone or take part in the walking tour by your guide.
Afterwards we will travel to Signal Hill which gives tourists a view of Cape Town from above. From there your guide will drop you off at your hotel.
